Puas hati dpt tgk tumpasnya THE FOXES kat King Stadium diorg

Arsenal came back from a goal down to win 3-1 against Leicester City with an impressive performance at the King Power Stadium.

Youri Tielemans gave Leicester the lead after just six minutes, but the visitors recovered well and took control of the game.

David Luiz brought the Gunners level when he headed home Willian's free-kick before Alexandre Lacazette put them ahead. He converted from the penalty spot after VAR had ruled that Wilfred Ndidi had blocked Nicolas Pepe's shot with his arm.

Pepe himself then made sure of the win when he tapped home from close range after Willian's through ball deflected into his path.

The victory sees Arsenal climb the table to ninth and they now have West Ham United in their sights in fourth place, while Leicester are in third.

Positives

Once again, Mikel Arteta's men showed great resolve. Just like in midweek against Benfica in the Europa League, Arsenal displayed good character and recovered well after going behind. The Gunners have often been criticised for having a soft underbelly, but they not only survived this early scare, they overcame it to dominate.

EPL : Leicester hukum kelemahan Arsenal

JAMIE VARDY and James Maddison have secured a commanding win for Leicester to pile further pressure on Arsenal boss Unai Emery.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had a goal disallowed, but it was the Foxes who gained three well deserved points.

Jamie Vardy ❤️ playing Arsenal He has 9️⃣ goals in 9️⃣ #PL starts against the Gunners

Unai said :
“We can be disappointed but the attitude of the players, they did the gameplan.
“In the second half we created some chances and when they scored we lost that opportunity.
“We are distant from them now but we will take time to prepare and improve and take the balance in the team.
“Manchester United and Spurs are also behind us so it is an equal competition but we have time to reduce the gap on Leicester.
“If we can play strong at home, I know we can play well when we play away.
“We didn’t lose at home but today lost here because Leicester are at home and feel strong here.
“I am speaking with the club to stay strong and recover. We also have young players who are growing up with us.
“I know we are receiving criticism but I have done before and I have recovered.
“I accept all the criticism. It is normal. Today we did one step ahead being better defensively.”

Abe Giroud hero of the day | Permulaan baik buat The Gunners

Giroud the hero for new-look Arsenal

Arsenal's Olivier Giroud said Arsenal "kept the faith" after delivering a late winner in Saturday's wild 4-3 win over Leicester to open the Premier League season.
The Gunners twice fell behind before Arsene Wenger put on Giroud and Aaron Ramey in what turned out to be an inspired double change as both substitutes scored to provide the victory
Giroud got the winner with an 85th-minute header, and he told Sky Sports afterward that Arsenal never doubted they could come back.
"Obviously I knew that I was going to have a chance so we tried to push," he said. "We kept the faith and kept believing in our game to push hard.
"We've been courageous to the end and thank God we won the game."
Wenger said he was happy Giroud decided to stay at the Emirates after having the opportunity to move on this summer following the signing of Alexandre Lacazette.
Alexandre Lacazette's goal - after 94 seconds - is the joint quickest opening goal to a Premier League season

"I love the man and the player. He's a fantastic guy and he's committed," the manager said. "He doesn't want to leave and I'm happy he wants to stay.
"At one stage I opened the door for him as I knew I had many strikers, and in the end he decided to stay.
Wenger acknowledged it would be difficult to give playing time to all of his attackers, but was happy with all the contributions on Friday night.
There was controversy in the build-up to Arsenal's equalising goal for 3-3 with a handball before Aaron Ramsey's strike

"Going forward and character wise we have been great. We had some avoidable goals which we conceded and overall we have to work on that," he said.
"It's impossible to keep them happy when strikers don't play. We have many games and hopefully I can give games to all the strikers. They all deserve to play."
Petr Cech has seen better days after conceding three goals, and he said Leicester did well to pounce on Arsenal's errors.
"We started really well and I thought we could stay in control. Then we made mistakes and they punished us," he said. "They had chances and then we had to chase.
"There were difficult moments when we were down and we managed to get out of that and it's great to see."

Leicester Arsenal berkongsi mata. #Tiada gol.

LEICESTER CITY 0-0 ARSENAL

Leicester's Danny Drinkwater falls under the challenge of Laurent Koscielny (not pictured)

Premier League champions Leicester City and last season's runners-up Arsenal are still waiting for their first win of the new campaign after a goalless stalemate at the King Power Stadium.
Both teams were aiming to bounce back from opening-weekend losses, to Hull City and Liverpool respectively, but could not find a breakthrough in a fiercely-contested game.
Referee Mark Clattenburg was the villain for Leicester fans after denying strong penalty claims in each half, first when Laurent Koscielny tangled with Danny Drinkwater then late on when Hector Bellerin appeared to upend Ahmed Musa.
Leicester striker Jamie Vardy failed to punish the club he turned down this summer when he shot wide from close range as Claudio Ranieri's side started to exert a measure of control after the break.
Arsenal keeper Petr Cech saved crucially from Riyad Mahrez in the dying seconds while Arsenal had opportunities of their own as they enjoyed the better of the first half, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain shooting narrowly wide.
Arsenal fans were not celebrating a hard-earned point at the final whistle - they were busy venting their fury at manager Arsenal Wenger's lack of activity in the transfer market.
Wenger was urged, loudly and in very industrial terms, to start spending some money as Arsenal fought through a spell of late Leicester pressure.
It left Arsenal without a win from their first two games and means they are already five points behind Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea - and indeed Hull City.
And there can be no doubt Arsenal's fans have a valid point when they question why Wenger has not beefed up his squad more, certainly with more than the £35m acquisition of midfielder Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach.
Wenger is hoping to complete a £25m deal for Valencia's German central defender Shkodran Mustafi but there is also a need for further class in attack to augment, and perhaps replace, Olivier Giroud.
This is a defining season for Wenger so it could be said he faces a defining few days in the transfer market.
Arsenal's fans certainly know it. Wenger must surely know it too as he listened to those angry voices in the travelling support tucked away in a corner of the King Power Stadium

Man of the match - Laurent Koscielny (Arsenal)

Laurent Koscielny's return to the Arsenal side helped strengthen a backline that conceded four goals at home last week

Manager reaction
Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri: "I am very happy. We didn't concede. We closed very well all the space and created clear chances to score. It was a draw but I think our fans enjoyed the match. Vardy scored against Manchester United, and he works so hard. I am happy with him."

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger: "I think overall it was a good performance, a good match between two good teams. It was a game of top level intensity and I believe we responded well to last week's disappointment.

WEL-come BECK ! Arsenal 2-1 Leicester City

Danny Welbeck's last-gasp winner saw Arsenal come from behind to defeat 10-man Leicester City 2-1 at Emirates Stadium, moving them to within two points of the leaders in the Barclays Premier League title race.
Jamie Vardy won and converted a penalty on the stroke of half-time, but Danny Simpson was sent off for a second booking early in the second half.
The Gunners capitalised when substitute Theo Walcott equalised with 20 minutes remaining and sealed a dramatic victory through the returning Welbeck, off the bench to make his first appearance since April, as he headed home in the fifth minute of stoppage time.
Leicester's defeat is only their third of the league campaign, while Arsenal's second straight victory puts them within striking distance of the top of the table ahead of the meeting between title rivals Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal had a half-hearted penalty claim turn down after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's cross struck the arm of N'Golo Kante from close range, but it was the visitors - unchanged for the sixth straight match - who created the first major opportunity.
Marc Albrighton delivered a threatening cross from the right channel and Vardy got up at the back post to head towards the bottom corner, but Petr Cech reacted superbly to get down and save.
Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud was correctly denied by an offside flag after heading in Mesut Ozil's inviting cross, while Cech clawed away a curling attempt from Kante that was swerving dangerously towards the top corner in an end-to-end encounter.
Leicester made the breakthrough in the last minute of the first half when a trademark counter-attack led to Vardy being clumsily brought down by Nacho Monreal in the corner of the box.
Vardy took the penalty himself and hammered his attempt into the bottom-right corner, sending Cech the wrong way for his 19th top-flight goal of the season.
Arsenal, already without the injured Gabriel, had to replace Laurent Koscielny at half-time as Calum Chambers came on and they were relieved to see the visitors have a penalty claim turned down when Riyad Mahrez went down under pressure from Monreal.
The match took a turn in the 54th minute when Simpson was shown a second yellow card for tugging back Giroud, just five minutes after fouling Alexis Sanchez to pick up his initial booking - the first time Leicester had been reduced to 10 men in the league this season.
It was Arsenal's first shot on target that gave them the equaliser. Hector Bellerin's cross from the right was cleverly headed on by Giroud and Walcott beat Kasper Schmeichel with a cool finish nine minutes after coming on.
Danny Drinkwater was fortunate not to be penalised for a high challenge on Aaron Ramsey a few moments later, before Welbeck made his comeback from the substitutes' bench.
Arsenal pressed hard for a late winner, with Per Mertesacker heading inches wide and Giroud being thwarted by an excellent reflex save from Schmeichel.
And the breakthrough arrived when Ozil's perfectly flighted free-kick was converted by Welbeck, sending the home crowd wild.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger: "It keeps us in it with many other teams. There is a long way to a go and we play a lot of big teams.
"We came out of a bad spell after four games without a win - we now win two games on the bounce. To still be in the fight after that spell is good and hopefully the result strengthens the belief of the team.
"We have a good chance. It was a pivotal moment because the mathematics meant it could be eight points or it could be two points and that is a great change."
Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri: "We want to fight match after match. We know the matches are hard. Now there are so many teams who want to win the league like Arsenal or want to avoid being relegated. Every match is different and tough.
"It was a fantastic match, very fast. We know Arsenal are a fantastic team, they move the ball very quickly and are full of skill, but we had to concentrate.
"We tried to counter-attack, have a fast transition and we controlled the match very well. They scored with the last chance. they were smarter than us and that is football.
"We showed a good performance, it is our third defeat in the Premier League. It is good, we are still top of the table, got two points more - we have to fight, carry on and smile."
