Rihanna was in the stands at the Emirates to watch the match on Saturday night

Pop singer Rihanna watched on from the stands on Saturday as Arsenal ran riot against Everton at the Emirates.

It's well known the Barbadian singer loves football after she took to social media to offer her insights during the last World Cup in Brazil.

But who knew the 29-year-old was a secret Gooner? Arsenal may have lost Alexis Sanchez but now they have got Mkhitaryan, Aubameyang and Rihanna.

After the match she posed for a picture with Mesut Ozil, who shared the snap of the pair on his Twitter account. He wrote: 'Still unbeaten with Riri'.

She attended that World Cup final in Brazil when Ozil lifted the trophy with Germany after they beat Argentina in extra-time.

UEL : GUNNERS fight back to win

Sead Kolasinac has now had a hand in 4 goals in his first 5 appearances for Arsenal (2 goals, 2 assists)

This man started the comeback - and he's enjoying quite the start to his Arsenal career...

Alexis Sánchez curls the ball into the corner from the edge of the box to put Arsenal in front

Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin speaking to BT Sport: “It’s a new competition for us so we had to set the tone. We think we are one of the best teams in the competition so we have to show that on the pitch.
“I’m very happy for the victory. We were ready to play at eight o’clock, but these things happen. We started a bit with cold feet but after that it just worked.
“The win in the league against Bournemouth and today’s win, coming back from behind, gives you a boost. We will train over the next two days and then be ready for Chelsea.“

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger speaking to BT Sport: "We had a slow start and there was an accidental goal. After that it was important not to concede and panic and put more pace into our game. From then. we controlled the game and won convincingly in the end.
"I think Sanchez is still running after his best form. He is a fantastic football player but physically he has just come back. But he has it in his locker to do something special, which he did.
"We want to do well in all the best competitions and I had an experienced team today, even though I made nine changes. They are all top class players, there is no hierarchy in the squad."

Abe Giroud hero of the day | Permulaan baik buat The Gunners

Giroud the hero for new-look Arsenal

Arsenal's Olivier Giroud said Arsenal "kept the faith" after delivering a late winner in Saturday's wild 4-3 win over Leicester to open the Premier League season.
The Gunners twice fell behind before Arsene Wenger put on Giroud and Aaron Ramey in what turned out to be an inspired double change as both substitutes scored to provide the victory
Giroud got the winner with an 85th-minute header, and he told Sky Sports afterward that Arsenal never doubted they could come back.
"Obviously I knew that I was going to have a chance so we tried to push," he said. "We kept the faith and kept believing in our game to push hard.
"We've been courageous to the end and thank God we won the game."
Wenger said he was happy Giroud decided to stay at the Emirates after having the opportunity to move on this summer following the signing of Alexandre Lacazette.
Alexandre Lacazette's goal - after 94 seconds - is the joint quickest opening goal to a Premier League season

"I love the man and the player. He's a fantastic guy and he's committed," the manager said. "He doesn't want to leave and I'm happy he wants to stay.
"At one stage I opened the door for him as I knew I had many strikers, and in the end he decided to stay.
Wenger acknowledged it would be difficult to give playing time to all of his attackers, but was happy with all the contributions on Friday night.
There was controversy in the build-up to Arsenal's equalising goal for 3-3 with a handball before Aaron Ramsey's strike

"Going forward and character wise we have been great. We had some avoidable goals which we conceded and overall we have to work on that," he said.
"It's impossible to keep them happy when strikers don't play. We have many games and hopefully I can give games to all the strikers. They all deserve to play."
Petr Cech has seen better days after conceding three goals, and he said Leicester did well to pounce on Arsenal's errors.
"We started really well and I thought we could stay in control. Then we made mistakes and they punished us," he said. "They had chances and then we had to chase.
"There were difficult moments when we were down and we managed to get out of that and it's great to see."

Sead Kolasinac makes Arsenal 'more dangerous going forward' - Wenger

Arsene Wenger says new signing Sead Kolasinac has the physical attributes to succeed in English football and that the left-back can make Arsenal more dangerous going forward.

Arsenal announced the arrival of Kolasinac on Tuesday, with the Bosnia-Herzegovina international joining on a free transfer from Bundesliga club Schalke.

Wenger said he has been following Kolasinac "for a long time" and that the defender will add to his defensive options next season as he can play in both a back four and back three formation.

"He's very compact as a player, very strong and determined in the challenges. He's good in the air as well, so overall I believe he has all the attributes to adapt to English football. The game here is very demanding physically on the commitment front and he has the ingredients to adapt to that."

Kolasinac provided five assists last season, the most of any defender in the Bundesliga, and Wenger said one of his strongest attributes was his ability to join in the attack.

"What he will give us is the fact that he's a player who can give assists, who can go forward, who can contribute good crosses," Wenger added.

"It's very important that we have that as well, because we have Kieran Gibbs, we have Nacho Monreal and we have him. But Nacho plays a lot now in central defence and in a three-man system I see him in there.

So overall, I think [Kolasinac] can contribute a lot to help us to be more dangerous going forward."
