BPL : Arsenal 2-1 QPR

Alexis Sanchez and Tomas Rosicky goals seal win as OIivier Giroud sees red for headbutting Nedum Onuoha

  • Alexis Sanchez saw an early first half penalty saved by Rob Green, after being fouled by Armand Traore
  • Sanchez rectified his miss by putting the Gunners ahead on 37 minutes following a Kieran Gibbs cross
  • Olivier Giroud was shown a straight red card early after the interval for headbutting Nedum Onuoha
  • Tomas Rosicky doubled the hosts lead on 65 minutes with a neat side-footed finish following Sanchez's pass
  • Charlie Austin pulled one back for the visitors from the penalty spot on 79 minutes

Arsene Wenger shook his head and fumed quietly as he watched Olivier Giroud disappear down the tunnel having been sent off for butting Nedum Onuoha. For once, his look said more than his words.

This was Wenger's 600th win as Arsenal manager and his 400th in the Barclays Premier League and, having toiled through a seemingly never-ending injury crisis, he could have done without this flash of idiocy from his senior centre forward.

Giroud is fortunate his team-mates were able to escape with three points, although it was a tense and anxious finale against a team without a point away from home all season.

Tottenham 5-1 Arsenal | League Cup | 2008 | Jermaine Jenas, Robbie Keane, Aaron Lennon and Steed Malbranque all got on the scoresheet, while Nicklas Bendtner netted an own goal, as Spurs thumped their rivals in the League Cup semi-final at White Hart Lane.

Liverpool 5-1 Arsenal | Premier League | 2014 | In arguably Liverpool's finest performance of 2014, the Reds utterly dismantled the Gunners, and cruised into a 4-0 lead within 20 minutes. Mikel Arteta's second-half strike was a mere afterthought.

Chelsea 6-0 Arsenal | Premier League | 2014 | A case of mistaken identity on Wenger's 1000th game saw Kieran Gibbs sent off instead of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Chelsea took full advantage, recording their biggest ever win over the Gunners to spoil the Frenchman's anniversary.

Stoke 3-2 Arsenal | Premier League | 2014 | Stoke raced into a 1-0 lead after a minute and went into half-time 3-0 up. The Gunners' second-half comeback wasn't enough to spare Wenger's blushes.

BPL : Newcastle lebur
rekod bersih Chelsea

PEMAIN Newcastle United, Moussa Sissoko (kiri) dan Jack Colback  PEMAIN Newcastle United, Moussa Sissoko (kiri) dan Jack Colback (kanan) meraikan Papiss Cisse (tengah) selepas dia menjaringkan gol pertama pasukan mereka dalam perlawanan menentang Chelsea di Newcastle-Upon-Tyne semalam. –AFP -

– AGENSI

Results BPL 04/12/14

ARSENAL 1-0 SOUTHAMPTON
CHELSEA 3-0 SPURS
EVERTON 1-1 HULL

. CHELSEA 3-0 TOTTENHAM - MARTIN SAMUEL, CHIEF SPORTS WRITER, AT STAMFORD BRIDGE:

And on it goes. The longest winless run in the history of the Premier League, 24 years straight and counting. Tottenham haven't taken three points from Stamford Bridge since Terry Venables was manager, Gary Lineker was the centre-forward and the competition was known as Division One. It was a different century, a different time, a different world back then. When will Spurs break this hoodoo? When they have a team as perfectly assembled as Chelsea perhaps.

. ARSENAL 1-0 SOUTHAMPTON - MATT BARLOW AT THE EMIRATES:Alexis Sanchez proved his worth to Arsenal once more as the Chile international popped up with a late goal to give them a dramatic 1-0 win.

BPL : SUNDERLAND 1-4 MANCHESTER CITY

The title is our baby: Champions City fire statement of intent to Chelsea as Aguero inspires emphatic comeback at Sunderland

.

SUNDERLAND 1-4 MANCHESTER CITY - CHRIS WHEELER AT THE STADIUM OF LIGHT: A classy Sergio Aguero double was complemented by Stevan Jovetic and Pablo Zabaletta strikes as City come from behind to cruise to victory at Sunderland.  Connor Wickham opened the scoring for the home side in the 19th minute, but the Blacks Cats luck ran out straight away. One minute, in fact, as who else but Sergio Aguero blasted home his first of the night to score City's first goal at the Stadium of Light since 2010.

AGENSI

ARSENAL
Damien Martinez - 7
Made a vital save to deny Mkhitaryan in the first-half and grew in confidence from there.
Calum Chambers - 7
The right back could have been more economical in possession but proved effective in both halves.
Per Mertesacker - 6.5
Not been at his best this season but looked more like his old self.
Nacho Monreal - 6.5
Again asked to fill in centre back and kept to his task well enough. Wenger will be pleased Laurent Koscielny is fit again, though.
Kieran Gibbs - 6.5
Responded to his unlucky own goal against Manchester United on Saturday with a typically steady display.
Mikel Arteta -  6.5
The skipper was quiet but efficient in central midfield. Kept things moving nicely in midfield. Booked.
Aaron Ramsey - 7
Still short of those blockbusting displays of last season, but a much improved performance.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - 7
The crossbar denied him a goal of the season contender on his 100th appearance for the club.
Alexis Sanchez - 7.5
Looked a little leg weary at times, but still lit up the Emirates Stadium with a great goal.
Santi Cazorla - 8
His best performance for Arsenal this season. Set-up Sanogo's opener and caused the visitors big problems.
Yaya Sanogo - 7
A night the young Frenchman will never forget. Still very raw but his goal will do him the world of good.

Subs
Flamini (on for Arteta 67 - 6.5)

Kieran Gibbs own goal and Wayne Rooney strike seals victory for Louis van Gaal's side

  • Manchester United took the lead in the second half after Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs put through his own net
  • United captain Wayne Rooney doubled their lead in the closing stages of the match with a left-footed chip
  • Olivier Giroud scored a consolation for the Gunners with a terrific strike, which made it for a nervy ending
  • Jack Wilshere was lucky to escape a red card after appearing to headbutt Marouane Fellaini in the first half

RATINGS: David De Gea and Chris Smalling stand out but Danny Welbeck misses out
ARSENAL (4-3-2-1)
Wojciech Szczesny - 5
Looked comfortable until his calamitous decision to come for Young's cross that led to United's opener and the Pole injuring a rib.
Calum Chambers - 6
Wasn't daunted by the task of shackling Di Maria. Looked a lot more assured than his last run out against Swansea.
Per Mertesacker - 6
Looked more assured than in previous matches, but still needs to improve. His lack of pace was exposed at times.
Nacho Monreal - 5.5
Again asked to play as a makeshift centre-back. Did a job, but the left-back looks so uncomfortable in the heart of defender.
Kieran Gibbs - 5.5
His lack of communication with Szczensy for United's opener cost Arsenal dear. A big blemish on an otherwise decent display.
Mikel Arteta - 6.5
Quietly went about his business in midfield and played a beautiful ball for Giroud's goal. 6.5
Aaron Ramsey - 5.5
Where are those dazzling midfield displays of last season? Kept things moving but still lacking last year's excellence.
Jack Wilshere - 7
It's going to be a restless night for the midfielder as he awaits a diagnosis on the ankle injury that saw him limp off.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - 7.5
A major threat down the right for Arsenal. Blackett had no answer to the England man at times.
Danny Welbeck - 6.5
Inter changed from the left wing to the centre throughout Saturday's clash. Missed two decent chances.
Alexis Sanchez - 6.5
Not up to the standard we've become accustomed, perhaps feeling the effects of the international break.
Subs
Santi Cazorla - 6
Brought on for the injured Wilshere. Couldn't unlock the door.
Emiliano Martinez - 5
An unexpected substitution following Szczesny's injury. Only thing he really had to do was pick the ball out of the net.
Olivier Giroud - 6.5
Marked his long-awaited return from injury with a goal . Perhaps the only plus point from a miserable day for Arsenal.
Subs not used
Rosicky, Podoloski, Giroud, Cazorla, Flamini, Martinez, Bellerin
Manager
Arsene Wenger - 5
His side are struggling. Big time. Needs to perk his players up for an important Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday. 5

Ganjaran dua kali ganda

Eurosports uk kata SHOCK AS LUIS SUAREZ FAILS TO MAKE CUT

Saturday, 25 October 2014

LA LIGA (El-Clasico) : REAL MADRID 3 - 1 Barcelona

.
It is four months since Luis Suarez sunk his teeth into Giorgio Chiellini and absented himself from football for his brief sabbatical. On Saturday evening at the Bernabeu he re-emerged and time away from the game had not withered him nor has psychiatric counselling dimmed his spirit. But good though he is, he cannot yet conjure miracles. He may have added intensity, ferocity and guile to an already formidable Barcelona attack - but as a collective unit they do not have the tools to stop Cristiano and Co at present.

MAN OF THE MATCH : Karim Benzema (Real Madrid): The French striker has become a big game player for Real Madrid. Benzema has now scored in each of his last three league Clasico games, and was at his fast and furious best against Barca once again. He could have, and probably should have, scored more than just once, proving too much for Pique throughout the game.
