BPL : Swansea 2-1 Man Utd

Gomis scores the winner as Swansea beat United

Swansea stunned Manchester United for the third consecutive time with another comeback win at the Liberty Stadium.

Juan Mata's close-range strike just after half-time put United ahead, but Andre Ayew and Bafetimbi Gomis gave Swansea a 2-1 victory which moved them above the Red Devils and into the top four of the Barclays Premier League.
Gomis had scored the winner when the two sides last met in February, part of a Swansea double, and he did so again with his fourth goal of the season and his ninth in the last 10 Premier League games.
It all added up to another feather in the cap of Swansea manager Garry Monk and a desperate afternoon for Louis van Gaal, who was taking charge of United for the 50th time, and saw his side concede for the first time in the league this season.
United had scored four times in the Champions League in midweek and they started where they left off in Bruges, full of attacking intent and trying to get the ball into lone striker Wayne Rooney quickly.
Memphis Depay won a second-minute free-kick which he took and forced Luakasz Fabianski into a scrambling save on his goal-line and Mata was almost instantly off target from 20 yards.
Luke Shaw then released Rooney with a peach of a pass which cut out Federico Fernandez but Ashley Williams covered brilliantly to avert the danger.
United were at their most dangerous when Memphis was drifting off the left flank and from one such foray he picked out Herrera, but Mata was unable to profit from his fellow Spaniard's pass as he fired wide of the near post.
Swansea had been slow to stir with some of their early-season attacking fluency denied them by the absence of thigh injury victim Jefferson Montero.
But the hosts suddenly took a grip of the game at the halfway point of the first half after Gomis had raced onto Ayew's pass to shoot wide.

SERIE A - AC MILAN 2-1 Empoli (espn)

Carlos Bacca and Luiz Adriano carry AC Milan while Mario Balotelli watches

Mario Balotelli watched on as goals from fellow forwards Carlos Bacca and Luiz Adriano earned AC Milan their first win of the new Serie A season -- 2-1 against Empoli.
Italy international Balotelli rejoined the Rossoneri on a season-long loan from Liverpool this week but was an unused substitute as the home side scraped an unconvincing victory.
After a scrappy start, Milan opened the scoring in the 16th minute when a defence-splitting pass from Adriano set Bacca away.
What looked to be a heavy touch from the Colombian striker took him past a defender and then wide of the goalkeeper but he kept his composure to slide in and slot the ball into the bottom corner.
Their joy was short-lived as Empoli equalised four minutes later.
A neat flick from Massimo Maccarone played in former Milan forward Riccardo Saponara and he drilled a low shot between the legs of Diego Lopez.
Ex-Middlesbrough striker Maccarone was marginally offside as he lashed in a shot, Saponara forced a decent save from Lopez and Manuel Pucciarelli did not connect as well as he would have liked with a first-time shot as Empoli took the game to their hosts.
It was more of the same in the early stages of the second half as Daniele Croce fired in a powerful shot which was straight down the throat of Lopez.
Milan made a change in the 56th minute but it was not Balotelli as Giacomo Bonaventura entered the action.
The substitute played a part in the Rossoneri's 69th-minute winner as Adriano attacked his inviting corner and powered a header past goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski.
Saponara lashed an effort high and wide before Milan replaced the injured Andrea Bertolacci with Andrea Poli, but there was no cameo from Balotelli as the home side held on.

BPL : Chelsea, Liv lose, City Arsenal win

Palace beat Chelsea, Liverpool hammered

Chelsea's poor start to the season continued as they lost 2-1 at home to Crystal Palace. The Premier League champions had won just one of their opening three games and they struggled to create clear chances in the first half against Alan Pardew's Palace.

Liverpool endured a miserable afternoon as they slumped to a 3-0 home defeat to West Ham United and saw Philippe Coutinho sent off. Liverpool had yet to concede a goal this season, but Manuel Lanzini turned home a mis-hit Aaron Cresswell cross-shot after three minutes to give West Ham the lead. Mark Noble then doubled their advantage with a calm finish into the bottom corner after Dejan Lovren failed to clear.

Saints knocked out of Europe

Ronald Koeman’s side sent crashing out of Europe following second-leg defeat in Denmark

Southampton were sent crashing out of Europe courtesy of a strike from FC Midtjylland’s very own 'Big Dunc’.
Former Celtic striker Morten Rasmussen was given the nickname 'Duncan’ during his early years with AGF Aarhus as he reminded a coach of former Everton forward Duncan Ferguson, with the Denmark international even sporting the name on the back of his shirt.
And he provided the moment of inspiration to send the Danish champions into the Europa League group stages, with Ronald Koeman’s Southampton losing 1-0 on the night and falling at the final hurdle of qualification.
Having made heavy weather of a first-leg draw at St Mary’s a week ago, Southampton were unable to get on the scoresheet at the soaked MCH Arena in Herning and will now go back to focusing on the stuttering start they have made to their domestic campaign.
After passing up several chances to open the scoring and chalk up a crucial away goal, Jay Rodriguez was guilty of a sloppy pass on the edge of his own penalty area that led to Rasmussen slotting home the decider. Pione Sisto could have made things worse for the Premier League side but he lacked the composure to beat Maarten Stekelenburg when inside the box.
Daniel Royer should have sewn up the tie with 10 minutes remaining but his rising effort from the edge of the area flew inches over Stekelenburg’s crossbar.

MSL 2015 : JDT Juara Pahang kedua

JDT sah kejuaraan, Pahang persiakan peluang

Selepas jaringan Dickson Nwakaeme dibatalkan pengadil perlawanan kerana mengasari penjaga gawang, Mohd Sarbinee Allawee, Pahang tampak lesu dengan Terengganu meledak gol pertama menerusi pemain import, Issey Nakajima-Farran.
