Leicester 5-3 Man Utd | MC 1-1 Chelsea
While Louis Van Gaal might now extend special privileges to Angel di Maria as well as Wayne Rooney, Manchester United's manager needs to impose some special measures at the other end of the field after this. United were magnificent going forward, with Di Maria marking another masterclass in attacking football with a quite outrageous first-half goal that suggested that, like Rooney, he should be guaranteed a place in Van Gaal's side. But Van Gaal also had to endure a defensive performance that served as another reminder of the challenge still facing the Dutchman.
Andre Schurrle put Chelsea in front in the second half after Pablo Zabaleta was sent off just minutes earlier for the hosts. But Frank Lampard scored an equaliser for City with just minutes to go. Meanwhile in the day's other 4pm kick-off, EVERTON host CRYSTAL PALACE at Goodison Park hoping to keep up their push for a place in Europe's premier competition next term. But the unfancied visitors have stormed into a big lead.
